The ships now are way to big to get sea sick.
- You've got a point, but I wasn't that lucky on my 3 cruises...
-There was no chop at all on the Big Red Boat cruise I took, so it was OK
-We learned that the Leeward is an ex-Italian ferry which was flat bottomed (so when we hit rough waves outside Cozumel, 90% of the people were sick).
-The Oceanbreeze was built in 1955, so even though it was totally "remodeled" in the late '80s (I believe), it's not as big & susceptible to rocking quite a bit when you hit some weather.
I guess it wouldn't be a problem on the bigger boats, like you said...maybe that'd be more enjoyable. Those ships seem so unbelievable though, like the casinos in Vegas...you get on (or go in) & are speechless, compared to the ships I was on- nice, but not "fancy".
