Very interesting. He seems very moderate which is ironic since his father was not. Moreover, he seems to almost denounce the revolution in Iran, noting that it was a failure, which was, of course, fired up by his father. This is the problem with Iran - there's two sides to the spectrum...the moderates and the extremists. As long as there are those Mullahs and as long as Khamenei has more power than Khatami, Iran is basically at a standstill when it comes to relations with the U.S. I blame the majority of Iran's problems on the fundamentalists and followers of Khamenei et al. Otherwise, the vast majority of Iran's population would like to be more democratic and more free. Moreover, they would like to have better relations with the rest of the world, especially the US.
