New Security Measures will be Demonstrated as Part of $20 Million
Intercity Bus Grant Program
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator, Adm. James M.
Loy in coordination with Greyhound Lines, Inc., and key elected officials
will hold a press conference to demonstrate prototype designs of new
security equipment for buses.
The event will include a guided bus tour by Greyhound officials, who are
receiving $9 million in grants as part of the progrm. The tour will
include a demonstration of a bus that has driver security measures as well
as improved communications and tracking technology.
