Victory In California.....

Thu Oct 09, 2003 2:02 am

99 percent of the precincts have reported and the following from the LA Times:

Arnold: 3,601,797 48.2%

No on the recall: 3,499,320 45.1%

More votes for Arnold then No on the recall.

I hope the Democrats try to pass out recall petitions, which will really get the voters goat. I can't wait for the 2004 Assembly and State Senate elections!

The sun this morning was a little brighter, the birds sounded happier and the oranges off my backyard tree never tasted sweeter.

What from California's past greatness do you want restored?

Best public schools in the nation?
Best University and state college system in the nation?
Best freeway system in the nation?
Best economy in the nation?

I am a native California, I remember when this state couldn't be touched. I wish Arnold the best as he tries to regain our prior greatness.

You, like most Californians, seem to have an almost incredible lack of understanding in regard to our political system and fiscal structure if you think a different guy walking into the governor's office is going to magically restore anything.
If you need someone to blame / throw a rock in the air / you'll hit someone guilty

My post asks the questions about restoring California's past greatness - the other thread did not...
