There is a French delicacy called anise candies, and I think I am addicted. Ever tasted it ?

Never tried them, but I'd like to.

What?

Already the third post, and noone has even mentioned the horrible idea of removing the last 'e' and replacing the 'i' with a 'u'  Laugh out loud

I think I might have tried them, but it's been a while since I went to France.

I haven't tried that specific brand but in general I don't like anise candies. I don't like either the hard candies -like lollipops- butter or chocolate-flavored.

Firstly, it's called aniseed candies in English.
Secondly, I prefer my aniseed in a liquid form, i.e Ricard or Pastis 51  Big thumbs up

Ohh God... now that you mention the Ricard...

My flight instructor and now very best friend is French living in the States; after I completed my training in the US and came back to Mexico he asked me to bring some tequila to a get-together he was organizing. I brought it there, made them some de-li-cious drinks and in return, he gave me a large glass of Ricard.

It was..... well.... different. And strong.

He told me that drink drove a king crazy many centuries ago., but I don't remember who it was.
