My Vauxhall Astra Is Slow

Tue Dec 02, 2003 5:18 pm

Hey everyone, I just took my moms car out for a spin with her in it and we shot some videos of being bored in it. I would like to share them with you guys, but I don't know how, so can someone explain how to post them into the forums? Thanks

Contact Courtenay Sport in the UK, they specialize in performance tuning Vauxhalls.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

For about 6000 euros they'll take your engine out and replace it with a 205 BHP turbocharged unit, I have that engine in my Cavalier (with a lot of modifications to give a much higher power output), and it's Fast and solidly built.

Gordon.

No offense, but an Astra is really THE car for old Grandpa's wearing hats while driving on the left lane of the highway with 80 kph here in Germany... Big grin

None taken. You can add 100 kph to that speed when I drive my Astra on the right lane between CMF and NCY (even in the 'slow' lane).

And I usually don't wear a hat.

read the Lexus thread, and you'll understand

Ahh... ok.

You should have signed "signed, 707cmf", everybody would have understood. The way you put it, I thought the 707cmf part was a message for me... sigh...

Anyway, I usually don't read threads that begin with "My Lexus is fast  Laugh out loud"
