Any day that Barbara Streisand loses in Court is a good one.
If you remember she suit an eviromental group that was making an arial survey of the California Coastline to document development and erosion along the coast.
Apparently the normally radically left wing Streisand by conventional wisdom should be for such a project but they took a photo of property and a house that she owned and she decided that she didn't like that. There where only one or two shots of approximately 12,000 photos taken for the project to document the whole California coast.
So she sued for removal of the photos from the groups website and for 10 million dollars in damages, claiming her privacy was violated and that the group was placing her in danger by providing information for stalkers.
Superior Court Judge Allan Goodman just rejected Streisand's request for an injunction and he also ordered that she repay the defendants legal bills, reportedly they run into six figures.
It is a very good day.
