Why Does '4'appear Whem I Use 4SHIFT

please help me1!ive tried so many things such a switching to 4US, 4UK, 4Swedish, blah blah and still every time i try to put a caps in, '4' appears when i use the left hand shift key, and '1' when i use the right.
im using win xp,
any help appreciated x

It sounds like you've remapped your keyboard accidentally... try going to the manufacturer's web site to see if they have any directions on how to reset it. If I remember correctly, with mine I have to hold down Escape while turning the computer on until the stuck key error comes up, then restart and everything will be reset to default.
