Right now, Cunard's Queen Mary 2 holds the title of World's Largest Cruise Ship, displacing Royal Caribbean's five Voyager-class vessels.
RCCL has signed a MOU with Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Finland to produce a single "Ultra-Voyager" class vessel that will be delivered in May, 2006, with an option for a second vessel of the type.
This vessel will reclaim the title of World's Largest Cruise Ship, as it will be over 160,000 tons once completed.
The QM2 will still be the longest cruise ship in the world, beating the "Ultra-Voyager" class by approximately 20 feet.
