How To Get Rid Of Hickeys- Urban Legends?

Mon Feb 09, 2004 10:05 am

Early Saturday morning, after a night out, spent the night at my friend's house (had some fun) looked in the mirror, and wow, two massive hickeys. I don't think you can classify these as hickeys! Anyway, I didn't attempt to try any "methods" to rid of these things-but curious to know have any of you tried any methods that some would consider, urban legends?

from an ask.com search...
-combing it out
-toothpaste
-cold spoon pressed against the hickey
-Vitamin K cream (?)
-Aloe

A hickey is blood raised to the surface of the skin, so basically it is a scrape. You could keep it moist, but even then it will be there for a little while, you could always throw some make up on there if you really wanted to.

It's a Trailer Trash badge.
Wear it proudly.

Just curious, but how would you comb out a hickey?

Perhaps the combing technique works if you have copious amounts of neck hair.... just some food for thought.

A hickey is a combination of an abrasion and a bruise.

Try ice and a turtleneck.
Up, up and away!
