Earthquake, Did You Feel It Too?

Tue Feb 24, 2004 2:46 am

We just got a small earthquake here in Elbonia. (at about 18.35 GMT+1). IT was very faint, and must have lasted for barely one second.

It was quite impressive anyway (for somebody who has never felt an earthquake, that is)

Anybody in Europe else felt it ?

Yes there's been an earthquake around Lyon and the Ain (les paysans vous ouvrent leur coeur) region, my aunt was phoning someone living in the Ain when it happened, and one of my cousin's friend who lives in Lyon felt it too. His chair moved of about 20cm.

We felt it in Geneva too. Just enough to rock you in your chair a little.

I felt one last week here in Pakistan and it measured 5. something on Richter lasting for not less than 15 seconds it was a strange feeling to be rocked back and forth, but I have exed them before as well this was the fourth time and strongest that I have ever felt it.
.....up there with the best!

I must admit I like quakes like that, as long as no one gets hurt.

This occurrence is probably due to one 707cmf's famous landings in his Kilo-Fox (bounce, bounce, bounce, SLAM !)
