Never heard of 'em, but then again, I'm only 16 years old. But man, Jessica is six minutes of pure greatness. Bliss. I air-play the piano solo, EVERY time. I think I'll lose my virginity to a girl named Jessica.

OK, maybe not, but you get the point.  Smokin cool  Big grin

Zeppelin,

Was number 1 on my top ten list.

Cannot go wrong. They were the greatest ever. I cant wait to see them play in the next life. Also notice in stairway, lots of hints to Tolkien. I guess Robert Plant had a huge thing for LOTR and Tolkien in general.

Historical, no less!!!

Have a look at DVD (that's the title!), listen to How the west was won...what can I tell you that you couldn't see or hear there??? Turn it up loud, and your neighbours and the police will not get you arrested but instead will join the party!!

Other recommended albums: Physical graffiti, anyone who gets not affected by that Kashmir riff is probably dead!
I know it's only VfB but I like it!

An interesting history snippet here. Led Zeppelin nearly had half of the Who in their line up. Keith Moon and John Entwistle were fed up with the constant (and physical) fighting in the Who and were invited by Jimmy Page to join a new band he was looking to put together after the demise of the Yardbirds.

It's hard to know how seriously the prospect was taken, but it was Entwistle who named the band, saying that should he and Moonie join, then doubtless the whole thing would go down "like a lead balloon" - hence Led Zeppelin, the "a" being dropped lest people pronounce it leed Zeppelin.

One of the greatest bands ever. My favorite Led Zepeplin song? All of them.

I even heard Stairway to heaven last night at a bar. Used to hate it only because it was so overplayed in the seventies and eighties. But now I can appreciate it again.

Ah Led Zep. I never get fed up of listening to them. I was lucky enough to see them play live, must have been around 1972. One of the only times I've really queued to get tickets. It's funny how things stick in your mind. I can remember it was raining as we queued and some arsehole got all uppety about me standing in front of him. Memories of the concert was Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a violin bow and the whole place going mad when Whole lotta love was played. Glory days.

Anyone else seen them?
