I am seriously considering a vote for Bugs Bunny (Or any random character I can think of when I walk into the booth) for at least four reasons
1.)I don't trust Kerry. He seems wishy-washy
2.)I don't trust Bush. His proposed policy on illegal immigration is stupid; we should enforce current laws.
3.)He's not going to win anyway, so what's the harm.
4.)The Whole GOP/Dems thing is kinda old. They're the same people voting for the same things. It really doesn't matter who becomes president.

IF either candidate does or says anyting that really makes me want to vote FOR or AGAINST said candidate I will vote for one of the parties.

But on a related note, if Anyone wants me to vote for their A.net handle for president give me a good reason and I will.  Smile

John Kerry.

I think he will bring back respect to the U.S. around the world without compromising our right and our ability to determine our national security interests.

I think he will not look kindly on outsourcing out millions of jobs, while gloating over such a "great" economy.

And KROC, if it's no one's business, why even post on here about it?

WellHung, the only thing this is Nadar's year for is to possibly be another spoiler. Even many of his hard-core supporters abandoned him when he announced ahead of time.

Sure it does. These were long-time allies and friends, who believe a lot of what he does, but see this new run as an ego trip, and nothing more, with so many people center-left wanting to beat Bush.

Waste your vote-vote Nader.

For most people, AC320, they've pretty much decided. There is about a 15% block, probably, that hasn't. That's where the election will hinge.

Bush.

A man who does not fold to international pressure like a deck of cards. A Kerry presidency would be complete disaster in terms of foreign policy, but especially the war on terror and the rebuilding of Iraq.

It's time to stop acting like we own the world.

Its time to accept who we are. The worlds only superpower. And its time to accept the fact that people are not going to like us for various reasons. I'm tired of the line that the US needs to get in line with the European Union and other world bodies, like the UN, who wish that the US would be weak instead of strong.

Its time to accept who we are. The worlds only superpower.

We accepted that, Jcs, when you were still running around on all fours, I hate to tell you. What Bush is doing goes WAY beyond that, to thinking he can dictate what the rest of the world should think and believe, and if it doesn't like it, that they can stick it up their asses-even if it means that their nation could suffer. And I'm not just talking about enemies-but about allies.

Bush is swinging a big Pax-Americana stick these days, and it goes beyond the US being the only power. We CAN be the world's only superpower, and still treat the rest of the world with a hell of a lot more respect than we've done the last 18 months, Jcs.

We need someone who doesn't think the world is his to do with what he will, and that's what Bush and his advisors have come to think.

It's time to send them packing.

First off, I’m not into politics and subscribe to the belief that all politicians are the same. But if I were to vote, and I’m not going to because I’ve got better things to do, I’d vote for John Kerry.

Why? Because George W. Bush is one big fucking idiot.

Not decided yet.

----
Message too short
The message you were about to post is too short and probably not of any higher value to the topic at hand. You should think long and hard before posting a message in this forum and make it detailed and a valuable addition to the topic discussed.

Avoid posting "Me Too" messages. These are messages that are posted by people who agree to a point being discussed and post a one liner, "me too!", "Good post Jim!", "I disagree" or similar message. This takes up time as readers must sort through these messages which have no real value to the group at large. Any message containing nothing more than a line or two of text is probably not worth posting.

If you have an opinion on a topic, you should in detail express why you have the opinion and what made you come to that conclusion.

Your post should be relevant to the topic discussed.

Neither. I've decided to leave the Presidential part of my ballot blank.

Both of the candidates are shitheads...period. There is no debating it.

Bush, well, I lost respect for him after the Iraq thing. I'm not one to blame all troubles in the nation/world, etc on the Commander in Chief like some dipshits on this forum (you know who you are, morons!). But my beef is with Iraq. Where are the WMDs!? I also don't like his policy on immigration. And I'm speaking as the son of two immigrants!

As for Kerry! Damn him! He's nothing more than Ted Kennedy's puppet. An asshole extraordinaire! If I ever meet that arrogant dickhead in person, I'll punch him. He's a flip-flopper. He says he has a list of leaders who wants Dubya out, but blatantly refuses to name them...well newsflash Kerry...as a public official, you owe us that info. Put your money where your mouth is...otherwise, you're just a lying piece of shit like your opponent.

Rant over...as you can see, I'm in a VERY bad mood.

I'm voting Bush. Better the enemy you already know than the one you don't. All three candidates (including Nader) suck so what's the difference. The Democrats have the same problem they always do - no one to offer to win by a landslide.

Last I checked, the last GOP candidate offered didn't win by a landslide, did he? He didn't even win the popular vote, did he? So, why is this just a problem for the Democrats?

Since I'm still not a big fan of Kerry, absolutely detest Bush, and am voting in Texas where every vote for someone not named Bush pretty much is wasted, I am undecided between Kerry or Nader once again.
On another note, anyone see The Daily Show last night? Great comment about one of my favorite people. Robert Novak: Douchebag for Liberty.

Alpha1,

I'll make you a proposition:

If you can explain to me how Kerry is going to prevent a private business from outsourcing US jobs I'll vote for him in November. The only restriction I place upon you is that the answer must be constitutional.

Note, I'm a Republican who lives in Florida so my vote is very valuable for the democrats.

Mainly because I don't agree with most Republican values and I find Bush utterly insipid and not fit for the job as President.
