REQ Help For Calling A French Number

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone could suggest why when i put in 0033...... in my UK phone to call the french number beginning +33 67....., i get the bloody BT woman going "daa daa daa. the number you have dialed has not been recognised". Anyone?

If the BT recorded voice happens straight after you dial 0033 and before you've pressed any other numbers, then it could be your phone has an international bar on it? If you've got further into the number, it could be that when dialling internationally, you drop a digit from the local area code (like when you call the UK from another country and drop the 0 of the area code)
