Stupid Toolbar I Cant Get Rid Of

Tue Apr 06, 2004 11:53 am

I have a stupid toolbar that popped out of nowhere on my internet explorer. It's called "BatExtraReal" and I cant get rid of it. Also I had it put new favorites in my computer like "Movies" or "Travel" and icons on my desktop that are the same not to mention it's own little toolbar on my desktop. What the hell is this, how did it get here, how do i remove it? It's driving me crazy because it opens over my Google popup blocker and i have to reopen it everytime i load something. ARRRRGGHGHHH

I have had the same problem.

What you do, is you go to their homepage, and at the bottom there should be an *uninstall* button. Click that and install.

Write them an email and bash them to hell, they shouldn't be playing with other people's stuff in the first place.

Run HijackThis to get rid of the invalid toolbar: http://tomcoyote.com/hjt
It will allow you to remove any toolbar and other spyware from IE and your startup.

This free software will remove all the unwanted softwares that you never realised was downloaded. I've used it for months.
