Last time I checked, we haven't drafted anyone since Nam...so these men and women VOLUNTARILY joined the service...be it a desk jockey, spec ops, tank driver, pilot, whatever....they knew they MAY be in harm's way, that they may be actually used for the mission they train for. One just doesn't join the military for a nice picnic and to chill on Air Force bases...so if they're in the military and aren't ready to go to war and fight and possibly die for the country, well, they're in the wrong business. And I can assure you, all 600 of those brave souls knew what they were doing..like it or not...noone was forcing them to join...and that's what makes the military so great.
I would be a 4-F, because I have severe hearing loss in one ear, and moderate hearing loss in another-was born that way.
So you didn't.....so don't dishonor their service by speaking for them. Before you ask about mine..I got 2 years left of college, and I'll be sitting at the front of the pointy end of the stick- air power...but that's beside the point.
