You have Skype installed on your PC
and your correspondent as well: you can talk (and exchange text messages) as long as you want, free of charge, YES.
I assume that you have no internet connection time charges.
Requirements for Skype:W2000 or XP
, a 64kbps connection.
Note: apparently Skype will not remain free of charge for a long time. I believe they are in the last stages of beta-testing and will thereafter charge a fixed.
Still the quality is usually (much) superior to regular phone, so if you use it regularly for international connections, it should very well remain a perfect alternative.
Many people are using it for professional purposes...
