Would any of you guys fancy a 7-10 day trip in mid-September routing
England-Ostend (via Calais)-Brussels-Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam-Dusseldorf-Cologne/Bonn-Frankfurt-Mannheim-Speyer museum-Stuttgart-Zurich-Bern-Lusanne-Geneva-Paris Orly-Paris Le B-Paris CDG-England? We could hire a minibus (I could drive) or, if there's sufficient numbers, a proper coach, and then simply divide the cost between the numbers. Including accommodation, it'd probably be 200-300 each, which is hardly bad for such a good tour. If we went for the minibus option, we'd definitely be able to tour the permeter of the airports, etc. Note that the travelling time will be, on average, only a couple or few hours, so you wouldn't be in the vehicle sitting down for too long. We'd need about 10 people at least to make it worthwhile. Needless to say we'd just briefly visit the smaller airports, like Antwerp, Rotterdam and Mannheim, and longer at the busier ones.
