Photograph Ban

Mon May 24, 2004 12:47 pm

Fot those members in New York City or for those who live a long the east cost may know that transit agencies have banned or will ban photography from their properties. This includes taking pics of trains, stations, yards as well as busses. I know many here enjoy taking pics of airplanes and airports, as I do.

More info here

There are many who wish to protest this ban, calling it excessive. I was wonder what you think.

For those who did not visit the general aviation section, several members were busted on the PHL trip.

What kind of crap is this?

This is up there with the dumbest things I have ever heard. They just don't want photos taken of what really goes on.

I suggest a general ban on all image capturing device of all sorts!

My god - I have some photos of the NYC subway and some photos of an NJT station on the Northeastern Corridor! Am I now a criminal?? :P

Don't let them do this to you - if you do, the terrorists are winning. Don't let them do it.
