I used to live in Clarksville, TN
and Bowling Green, KY and would go to Nashvegas all the time for shopping and other things when I needed a "city fix." The airport is nice too...a little big for the traffic. I've taken AA
flights many many times back when it was up to 3x a day, and they were going head-to-head with WN
on that route.
Have only driven through and flown through Memphis.
Chatanooga is a nice little place. I really like the aquarium there; been there a couple of times. I've driven through Chatanooga many many times en route to and from Atlanta.
Knoxville's new terminal is really nice...way better than the previous piece. I have family that live there but I don't visit them. I like Gatlinburg and the tackiness of Sevierville and all the tourist traps and such.
Both Tennessee and Kentucky are beautiful states, especially the Smokey Mountains in TN
. But I'm very glad to be living in CA
