What To Do... What To Do...

Wed Jun 02, 2004 9:01 am

Hey guys

I'm 15 (16 in September), and have the entire summer ahead of me. I'd like to get a job, but its tough at 15... My summer plans are weak (see below) and a work schedule would probably not fit my schedule, since my "out dates" would be sporadically placed throughout the summer.

So the question is... WHAT TO DO?!?!! I would like to perhaps do an aviation summer course, but can't find anything...

6/25 - 7/11 UTNIF Austin, TX
7/15 - 7/18 San Diego
7/31 - 8/7 Calgary/Banff/Jasper

HHHEEELLLPPP!!!

Thanks

Buy a lawn mower, cut grass for the summer. Not glamerous but a sure way to make a bunch of $$$ (at least for a 15 year old).

Are you in high school forensics by any chance?

This summer is especially bad for teenagers looking for summer work. You could probably find a McDonald's type job, but with those out dates you'd have a pretty hard time finding anyone to hire you. If you are looking at keeping your job into the school year you might have a better chance, even wit the several large gaps where you will be on vacation or out of town.

I'd say don't bother with the job. Enjoy living and eating for free as long as you possibly can. Just find something fun and active, and go for it.
