A lot of B757300's reasons aren't true, a lot are just as much the fault as the democrats (Kerry voted for the so-called Patriot Act) Example - Bush couldn't stop outsourcing even if he wanted to, the genie is long ago out of that bottle.
My reasons are similar to what Boeing757/767 said.
He said Iraq had WMDs and was an imminent threat to the US, his Veep said over and over again that Mohammed Atta met in Prague with an Iraqi diplomat. Both not true. He had no plan for after the war, he relied on the neocon wingnuts and yahoos, who have this naive grand master plan for the Middle East that is so patronizing and smacks of something out of 19th century London or Paris. Gotta break out my Rudyard Kipling, and who may have unwittingly given Iran who the hell knows what through a confidence con man wanted in Jordan for bank fraud, He did this because operatives in the CIA
and State didn't tell him what he wanted to hear (OK Tenet gets a shitload of blame here) He failed to finish what he started in Afghanistan (a legitimate war, they did harbor the people who attacked us) and that country may drift into chaos. He failed to finish it because of Iraq. In the corporate world, the board of directors would or should fire the CEO for that. It's a grand fuck up - whether or not you feel it was legitimate going to war in Iraq.
The rest of the world hates us, and while a country should base its foreign policy on its own interests, not those of other nations, even Machiavelli said its smart to build alliances.
He is busting the budget, spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave, and even conservatives are saying "whoa."
And frankly, while I respect anybody's right to his or her faith, I'm getting sick and tired of getting preached to all the time by him. I don't need a sanctimonious lesson in God and morality every time he makes a speech.
I may be ugly. I may be an American. But don't call me an ugly American.
