How Do You Cope?

Tue Jun 15, 2004 10:32 pm

I just wondered if there are any people on the site who have a spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend who is in the military and is currently deployed or on training somewhere. The reason I ask is because my girlfriend leaves for a month of training tomorrow and this is the first time we've been separated for a significant amount of time and I just wondered how you cope with it. Granted it is only a month and it isn't very long at all, when you are 22, it is still kinda hard. Any advice is appreciated.

Don't do it more than once a day, you'll start to loose your memory.

Not to mention your eyesight.

... and if you think you're going to get away with a quick one on the sly, I shall remind you that after relieving yourself, any more than 2 shakes = a hand shank. Sorry.
