I wonder how long until I can fill it with deletion and suspension messages... I've got about 30 and not even at 1% yet.

But the really nice change they made is allowing up to 10mb message size.

Ya huge improvement, I went from using 40% of my space to using 2%.  Big thumbs up There is no question that this would not be happening if it weren't for google who is about to rock the world with 1GB of storage for free. http://gmail.google.com

Sure blows MSN/Hotmail right out of the water... Them and their measely 2mb of storage. HA!
The article I read warned that Google plans to monitor people's e-mails then include advertisments relevant to the topic being discussed in your e-mail. Gotta figure... 1000mb does come with a price.

Ya, BUT it will be done only with computers. and because of that there will be no pop-up ads.

I received the news a couple of days ago with my SBC Global account. At first I thought they were hijacking $10.00 a month out of me, but nice to see it's free Big grin.

I can't imagine that MSN/Hotmail will stay behind for too long, I would imagine that if Yahoo can do it, MSN surely can.

In fact I don't imagine, I know that if Yahoo can, MSN can. It might be a while, but it will happen.

I really like the new Yahoo design, more so than the extra space I think.

As per Gmail scanning your email, I have a Gmail account, and I do like it. It just as some very un-intrusive ad's on the side. The way that messages are scanned to give you the ad's on the side are the same way that spam filters work, by scanning your email. These ad's are only text, so they aren't nearly as bad as the photo ad's that you get on MSN/Hotmail with are very intrusive, or the ones on Yahoo, which are slightly less intrusive.

I liek Gmail's system so that you can have conversations, and the quick reply feature, etc.
