Coach K...and The Lakers?

Fri Jul 02, 2004 10:00 am

Maybe it's me, but this doesn't seem like a right fit.

Krzyzewski should just stay at Duke, where he has it good, and where he's treated like a god. Who would, honestly, want to go to the Lakers, in the mess they're in?

I say they consider Tomjonavich (spelling?) more strongly over him. Rudy has a more well-known record.

There has not been too many coaches (that I can recall) go from college to the NBA with much success. Larry Brown is the only coach to win both the NCAA Championship and an NBA Championship (IIRC). I agree that Rudy would be a better fit and his experience and history are his strong card.
