The Bourne Supremacy

Anyone else looking forward to this movie? It looks really cool, and I'm a big fan of the Bourne Identity.

Yep... can't wait. The Bourne Identity was a great movie (with the exception of that annoying girl which wasn't supposed to be in the movie). I believe Bourne is part of a trio?

I just googled it and it looks like it is a trilogy; The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and the Bourne Ultimatum. I wonder if there will be a third movie.

I totally agree. It is a very fulfilling movie, it's unfortunate the James Bond movies never are [fulfilling]...they always seem to leave something to be desired.

Unfortunately, the sequel was not directed by Doug Limon, the brilliant creator of 'Go' 'Swingers' and producer of 'Kissing Jessica Stein' and 'Arrested Development'.

The sequel was directed by Paul Greengrass, who appears to have mostly directed made-for-TV movies, and IRA stuff... Films like 'Omagh' (TV) and 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'.

'Bourne Identity' was lotsa fun to watch; let's hope the sequel is just as good...

Can't beat the books. Hard to get all that action into 2 1/2 hours though. Not really bothered about the film.

There was an earlier TVM starring Christopher Plummer (I think) that I saw in a video shop once, but wasn't that bothered about renting.

Doug Liman is still the executive producer of The Bourne Supremacy, so, hopefully, there is some of his direction/style in the movie...

P.S. Julia Stiles is still pretty hot  Big thumbs up

I've never been interested in Julia Stiles (or Franka Potente)...but I think she's great for the part. Too bad there aren't any real hot women in this movie.  Sad

".... (with the exception of that annoying girl which wasn't supposed to be in the movie).... " Are you talking about the woman who play Bourne's "girlfriend?" I can not remember her name but I think she was pretty good at the role! I hope she is in the new movie coming out.
