what little, tiny, barley noticable things annoy you in life?heres two things for me:

Slow moving ceiling fans-why not just turn them off?their not moving air at all

and theres the fact that the black rubber thing you hold onto on escalators always moves just SLIGHTLY faster that the escalator.id immagine in this day and age someone would have found out how to solve that problem.

and whats with pink ties?what are you trying to do wearing a pink tie?pimp it up?

The missing sock, gone AWOL in the tumble dryer. Somewhere in some giant black hole in the universe are about 400 quadrillion unmatched socks, most of them mine.

1. Pen caps that are missing or not replaced when not being used.

2. When someone else leaves the littlest bit of whatever in the container(i.e. milk, cereal, crackers, etc) so much so that it's not even worth consuming that last bit.

3. Watching people chew gum.

I hate driving with someone when they are in the wrong gear and wont change as they are too lazy. Those vibrations really get on my nerves!

To add to the AWOL sock... I always have like 2 or 4 socks that don't match anything else in the laundry pile... If I ever catch the little gnome that is stealing them I am gonna shove that red pointy hat where the sun doesn't shine.

Cell phones in classes.. I wish I could be so important I couldn't be out of contact with ma peeps for 50 minutes.

Why the 20oz sodas cost $1.00 in the vending machines at school but if you walk 20 feet and buy them at the food line they are $1.40... fascinating.

The missing sock, gone AWOL in the tumble dryer.

I solved that problem by throwing all of my socks away and buying 20+ pairs of new ones - all the same.

Commonality...

As embarassing as this is, I have to admit that I did the same thing as Ben. I bought about 40 pairs of the same socks 4 years ago and still have plenty left. And no hassle trying to match them up.

  • People who fidget constantly while sitting beside me on an airplane. They can't sit still, and are always adjusting their collars or sleeves, or making as much noise as possible while turning the page of a magazine or newspaper. Ugh.

  • People who chew with their mouths open and make smacking noises - this is the worst of all.

  • People who file their nails in my presence - I have to leave the room.

  • People who become irate with gate agents because of weather delays, etc.

  • People who aren't friendly.
  • Blank.

Add me to the list of tits who buy socks with commonality.  Laugh out loud

It makes life far easier cos you don't have to pair them up, you just stick them in the drawer loose!

The little day-to-day idiocies annoy me a wee bit.

When I'm just about ready to head to the supermarket or basically anywhere, I realise that I left my wallet upstairs. Great. Now I have to walk up the stairs just because my mind went inactive for that damned half second when it was supposed to remember "Take the wallet, take the wallet!"
...that mobile phone batteries are always empty when you really need them.
...that mouse balls tend to collect all the dirt from the mouse pad and that it clogs up the mouse. And that I don't have the money for a Logitech diNovo.
...that the remote control of my stereo needs so much "persuasion" to work properly.
...that my nose doesn't work quite right anymore. Chlorine? Well, why should I smell it?
...when I'm putting books in a shelf and they al topple over.
...when I forget to hit the a/c "circulate" button in the car while I'm getting close to something smelly.
...when I can't find the right music for the moment.
...when I'm all slack and slow because it's 30°C and 80+%.
...when I get a headache away from home and don't have a pill in my wallet because I forgot to replace it after the last time I took it.
...when the radio plays "Söhne Mannheims" right after some good music.
...that some people think everyone is attacking them and wanting their worst.
...that some people consider everyone who doesn't find their jokes funny a spoilsport or an idiot.
...when people bitch for the sake of bitching.
...that so many people think their wealth is the thing the world should turn around.
...that so many people think work is a form of punishment and then wonder why others get the jobs they were fired from.
...when ignorant people go on power trips.
...when ignorant people bash those who know their stuff because the truth doesn't fit their agenda (recent example: Annie Jacobsen's Womens Wall Street whining episode)
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

    Hello ....  Smile

Well, for me, the first one that comes to mind is when I'm walking down a sidewalk and there's three people or more walking towards me and they don't have the normal common respect of making room for me to pass by. They'd rather ignor me and have me go around them and walk across the grass.

    I don't think so .......... It's simply rude.

So, I just march on right through the middle of them. It usually wakes them up pretty fast! I'm a big guy.

Regarding socks ............. that's one of life's drags! Big grin
