Sure Beats Living In The Dorm

Wed Aug 11, 2004 4:42 am

You can file this under "who cares" in just a moment. But I heard this on the radio this morning.

The Olson twins, are reported to have spent $7.3 million on FOUR Greenwich Village Penthouses which will be converted into a custom 5700 sq-foot college pad for the twins... who are starting at NYU this fall.

Too bad they won't get the REAL college experience living in an undersized dorm room, with a roomate that you hate, eating nothing but ramen noodles and dining hall food.

Now go and file under "who cares".

I have a friend at NYU and the dorms there are far from undersized. Come down to LSU and look at some of the Russian blockhouse dorms we have, if you want to see undersized. Then again it might be hard, as the dorm I'm referring too has been partially torn down. Regardless, I wish I had $7.3 million to buy my college housing. Hell I could buy a small college.

If you can do it, why not? If I had their money you better bet I would have a kick ass house or 5.
