Going Out In Manchester

Hi all,
Im am going out in manchester tonight to celebrate my birthday. Has anyone got any suggestions of places to go out for a good night.
Im looking along the lines of of a good pub and club (fairly cheap)??

depends on what you want to do or what you like.

Manchester is a big place and caters for just about every taste.

I've just been for lunch around Deansgate and that's a great area. I think though Castlefield is a better choice for evening.

Too be honest im not too sure , best asking Demoose. He's more up on MAN life.

If you have ever watched 'Most Haunted' on Living TV then why not live the experience and go to Brannigans on Peter Street?

Well... I'd say Via Fossa, Spirit, Churchills, Hollywood, Cruz etc etc....

...but I guess that ain't gonna be to everyones' taste, is it??!

Where abouts in Manchester?

City center? Deansgate? Fallowfield? Oxford Road?

The choices are endless!!! Big grin

Theres a few places I like along Oxford Road: Scu Bar and The Footage.

Then as you get up towards St Peters Square theres Baracuda, a wetherspoons and a few other pretty cool places.

If you go to the filmworks, up that way then theres Tiger Tiger (very good) and inside theres the huge underground club (totally forgot its name :S but its HUGE) altho i dunno when thats open when students arent there.
