L-188, the Hawks are taking the championship this year! We will beat prolly Baltimore or Denver in the championship game, and then we'll bring the title home to where it belongs, Qwest Stadium.

How will the Seahawks beat Baltimore or Denver in the championship game when they aren't in the same conference? Unless of course you are referring to the Super Bowl, which is usually referred to as the 'Super Bowl'.  Big grin If that's the case, the Pats are looking like a good bet to make it back for the AFC.

Superbowl:

NY Jets vs. Minnesota

Most Over Rated Teams:

AFC - Kansas City - No Defense
NFC - Green Bay - Please.

Most Under Rated Teams:

AFC - San Diego - Young but great players that could have a break through season. Health, not skill was an issue last year.
NFC - Dallas - Trouble at QB could be solved. Good skills. Last year was the first year they actually had a shot at doing something right.

Most Over Rated Player: Eli Manning
Most Under Rated Player: LaDanian Tomlinson

I doubt the Pats will make it back to the SB this year. Preseason doesn't mean much but last year what were they 3-1 this year 1-3.

Oh, come on. They were a pussy 4th and inches punt and blown 4th and 26 from making the NFC championship game last year. Favre has also said he has his best receiving corps ever. The defense is a bit of a question mark, but the new coordinator seems to have a good aggressive scheme. The Packers will be a contender in the NFC.

And for all these Seahawks Super Bowl picks...

Remember, you have to win a playoff game before you go to the super bowl, something they haven't done since 1984. I think they'll take the NFC west though...

Just out of curiosity, do you guys think the Eagles could actually NOT LOSE in the championship game this year?

Everyone is just overlooking Carolina again. My suggestion is, DONT OVERLOOK CAROLINA. I think they are poised and ready to make another SB run. As for other contenders in the NFC, I say the Vikings will be serious contenders. Seahawks will be good, but no SB champs.

"Just out of curiosity, do you guys think the Eagles could actually NOT LOSE in the championship game this year?"

Sure...4th time's the charm!!! McNabb's finally got a receiver to throw to in TO, if (and admittedly a big "if")Kearse stays healthy our defensive line is in good shape, Westbrook is a great RB but if he gets hurt that could be ugly at that positioncause Buckhalter is already done for the season...our safeties are amongst the best in the league, and our corners, Sheppard and Brown, should do a good job of filling in for Taylor and Vincent...they both have some game experience so things look allright for us this year...

Colts over Pats
Jacksonville over Buffalo
Detroit over Chicago
Baltimore over Cleveland
Houston over San Diego
Tennessee over Miami
Seattle over New Orleans
Cincinnati over New York Jets
Pittsburgh over Oakland
St Louis over Arizona

I really hope they do lose... this has to be the most boring team to watch in the entire league. Call it the Hawaii offense... it's too West Coast. I'm just waiting for the day that T.O. blows up at Reid because he's had his fourth 5 catch - 28 yard performance of the season - and it's only October. Midway through the season, Owens will be longing for Erickson and the 9ers. And I'll laugh as the Vikes run away with the conference.

The Eagles will not lose the NFC Championship game this year - because they won't be in it. I agree the Seahawks should be a good team, but how about winning a few games before puttin' them in the Super Bowl. As for the AFC, Kansas City is weak, Denver is tired, Miami is done, the New Jersey Jets suck, Indianapolis is SOFT, and Bill Belichick has demonstrated that he knows how to win. I don't really believe that dominance is possible in football anymore, but, he may just prove me wrong. The Patriots are stronger than last year ON PAPER, if he can work his magic and they stay relatively injury-free, who knows?

The only way the Jets are going to the Super Bowl is if Tom Brady decides to give them tickets........

My question is how long will Wannstadt be the coach in Miami. The Dolphins will be lucky to make .500 this year. I wonder how many weeks into the season it will be before our first win (and that really sucks because they have almost always been a pre-season SB contender)!

My guess is that if the Dolphins miss the playoffs this year, which I think they will, ol' Wayne will give Dave the heave-ho...

Now I guess the question for the Dolphins is, "Is this new running back (from the Rams) the answer to an anemic running game?" Only time will tell but I think the Tutans are going to kick their ass on Sunday!  Sad (and I'll be damned surprised if Miami wins or is even close!)

Miami's on life support right now, but my two friends, (die hard Miami fans) call this a simple restructuring...sounds like an airline huh? Wannestead will be gone shortly, which is kinda sad, I think he's a decent coach, just a bum deal, oh well, can't win 'em all I guess.

I don't know if I should start a whole new post post for this but who are your sleepers this year?

I'm standing by Quinten Griffin (RB-Den) because Denver's the greatest team ever, and with their running game, any back is successful. I'm hoping for a 1,000 yards from him. Ridicule me all you want. I don't care.

Tom Jones (RB-Chi) I think should have a great season, people tend to think not, but something says that with his power, and Lovie now in Chiggytown, this guy just might take off.

Ashley Lelie (WR-DEN) once again, the greatest team ever, very underrated, should do well.

Andre Johnson (WR-HOU)

I have a few other, but I'm on vacation and feel stupid typing on my laptop when I should be drinking a beer on the balcony...
