So When Will The Media Investigate Kerry?

Wed Sep 08, 2004 11:08 am

The Media Wing of the Democrat Party has been investigating President Bush for everything they can in an attempt to help Kerry. However, they flat out refuse to investigate Kerry and even ignored the SBVT until the Kerry campaign blew a gasket and forced the issue to the front page.

- Investigated Bush for being AWOL in the National Guard. The AP has sued multiple times demanding all kinds of records and then claiming coverup when some documents (ones that were usually destroyed within a couple of years of the person leaving the Guard) were not found. The President signed an order allowed anyone access to his records while Kerry has kept his records sealed except for the ones he has decided to release.

- The media has dragged out an old Texas Democrat, Ben Barns, (who BTW works for the Kerry Campaign) to claim that the Bush family pressured him, when he was Lt. Governor, to get George W. into the Texas Air National Guard. Of course the problem is that Barns wasn't Texas' Lt. Governor until a year after Bush joined the National Guard.

- Refused to investigate the claims made by the SBVT and have not sued to see any of Kerry's military records, divorce records, or tax returns.

- Attempted to link President Bush to the SBVT while ignoring the fact that the DNC shares a lawyer with Moveon.org and that several employees of the Kerry campaign also work for Moveon.org, ACT, and other liberal 527's.

- Have told us that all that matters is the "official record" when it comes to military service and what 254 veterans have said about Kerry doesn't matter. How come when Bush's National Guard record shows he fulfilled his requirement and received an honorable discharge it must be questioned, requestioned, and questioned again?

- The Bush Bashers Book of the Month Club, aka 60 Minutes, has given hour long shows to every hack who writes a book trying to trash the President. However, they will not even acknowledge the SBVT and Unfit for Command.
______________________________________________________________

Also, the Democrats have demanded that the Republicans and Bush campaign denounce all the attacks on Kerry's service. Now why will Kerry not denounce all these attacks on Bush's service?

And lets not even start with the liar Kitty Kelly and her writings. (I won't call her crap a book and stain the millions of good books out there.) Larry King and Newsweek have refused to have anything to do with the woman (who has written books so off the wall that they're banned in places and proven to be nothing but a collection of lies) stating that her accusations have no proof and cannot be backed up. But now NBC's Today Show (aka the John Kerry Morning Propaganda Update) will spend three days with the b*tch and do their best to portray the Bush family as drug addicts, child molesters, mass murders (using Anthrax), homosexuals, and God knows what else.

Then there is the AP story that when Bush told supporters at a rally of Clinton's upcoming surgery and that everyone should wish him well. According to the AP the crowd booed. However, people who were there, including local reporters, showed that the crowd clapped, not booed like the AP claimed. However the AP won't retract their story.

The media has been so blatant in its bias toward Kerry. Even the editor for Newsweak has said that the media is doing everything it can to help Kerry win and is probably worth at least 15 points in his campaign.

Dude, you are seriously getting as tiresome as a certain left-winger that you were bashing recently for all of his thread-starters.

Give it up, already. Most of the rest of us have.

Do you think the presidential election is going to be decided among a.net members? I don't think so.

You just wrote 595 words of your own thoughts to convince WHO? Do you think one person on the left is going to be swayed over to your side, because of your posts? Nor is any person on the right going to be swayed over to the left, at this point.

It's not gonna happen. What a complete and total waste of time this is getting to be.

Weren't you sick of RSmith6621a posting all his Anti-Bush stuff all the time?

Kerry Sponsored Bill Commending Pres. Bush On Iraq B757300 2004-09-08 01:53:44
262 Mass Graves Found In Iraq (1,000,000+ Victims) B757300 2004-09-08 01:27:15

And now this one. That's three started in one day. I don't think even RSmith6621a can match that.

I think the "Prime Obsession" picture would be called for here.

I really don't think that they will...unless there is a point in which it is obvious Bush is going to win...then they might to join in the bandwagon and try to maintain a sliver of credibility.

Really, the way the media is going after Bush like dogs has to be obvious to everyone.

Now they are trotting out Ben Barnes...those of us from Texas know full well what his personal record is, but does that stop them? No.

This may really turn off the swing voters.

"..They tore clinton apart. "

I guess I missed the media investigating

- ChinaGate (The millions of dollars from the PRC that was pumped into the Clinton campaign and DNC. Some claim it was in exchange for nuclear weapon technology.)

- The countless women who claimed to have had affairs and/or been raped by Clinton

- The accusations that Clinton was involved in drug running in Arkansas

- The accusations that the Clintons had Vince Foster killed off to keep him quiet as well as the large body count that seems to follow the Clintons

- Accusations of drug use in the White House by staff

- The thousands of missing FBI files (that part is confirmed) which some claim were stolen by Hillary and used for blackmail

- The media even spiked the story about Clinton and Monica until it was reported by Matt Drudge. Once it got out, the media has no choice but to follow along.

- Clinton covered up TWA-800 either to protect the government or because he had it shot down to kill a personal enemy.

Now most of these are the typical whacked out stuff one can find on various Geocities sites. Even me, who never liked Clinton and feel that he was one of the worst President in history, do not believe all the conspiracy crap that people put out. However, the media will give credence to every whack job who says anything about equally nutty about President Bush even to the point of claiming that his mother is a practicing witch and his father rapes little boys.

Let Kerry flip-flop all he wants. He will only end-up as the democrats worst candidate in history. When he loses the election in November, we can forget about him and get on with our lives.

If there was a shred of a chance I would have ever read one of your posts before, it has been erased by the sheer stupidity of the above post.

This is about the most laughable thing I have ever read on a.net.

I'm sure that you also believe that 9/11 was really an "inside job", and that there was no 757 that crashed into the Pentagon. What about those missles that were affixed to the AA and UA 767's in Boston before departure?

WASHINGTON - August 30 - A new Media Matters for America (MMFA) analysis finds that in 2004, media coverage of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's baseless attacks on John Kerry's war record has been more than twice that of the coverage of the controversy over George W. Bush's service in the Alabama National Guard:

Both current major-party presidential candidates served their country during Vietnam. Both candidates' service has been questioned.

The similarities end there.

And the rest is here.

Qb001 - Nice input and interesting data.

But within about 45 seconds someone (and I can tell you who) will tell you that commondreams.org is an unacceptable source of information and therefore the information cannot possibly be true.

I just read reply #6.

In case you're wondering, your credibility just landed somewhere in Ohio.
