Btw, he told me, that the common German well-wish on New Years Eve "Guten Rutsch", is originating from "rosh".

LY7E7,
is it true that there is some uproar in Tel Aviv about the game tonight, that it hasn´t been switched to a more convenient date?
I mean, no one here in europe would schedule an important football game on Christmas Eve.

Have fun tonight. Give Bayern Munich a good fight. That club is the most arrogant here in Germany.

Na, We've discussed UEFA greedy behaviour on the CL thread here... That's not FCB fault , they were willing to change the date.

PS Yeah, we'll give Maccabi a good fight Big grin, if you know what I mean  Smile

I lived in Thailand for a year and one of the greatest things there is that they celebrate every party you can imagine, both non-religious as well as of any religion you can think of. So lots of Happy New Years within 365 days!  Wink/being sarcastic

Happy New Year, Asbg and LY7E7!!!

by the way, what number 5

I assume that you seek a translation for reply 5. In that case : "Toda Raba" is "Thank you very much"..

Shana Tova everyone celebrating Rosh Hashana. El Al does not fly during these few days and also during Yom Kippur, the most holy day in Judiasm. I dont even think the airport at TLV is open then as AC does not have a flight on that date.

I was busy at synagogue for the past 3 days!

Tell me about it...!

The services here were so long. Shacharit was 5 hours!
Not only that but the a/c was right over my head. I felt like a freezing Eskimo  Smile
