Garden State (The Movie)

Sun Sep 19, 2004 2:03 pm

I saw this movie in Memphis the other night and man, I thought it was brilliant. Well acted, great dialogue. The movie just felt real. Anyone else seen this one? It's in wide release in the States now but it may be tough to find in the smaller markets. It was only showing in one theater in Memphis and it's only showing in two here in New Orleans. Be sure to check it out, it's just a great film with one amazing soundtrack (one of the best i've heard).

I agree. I thought, when I first heard about it, "Oh that guy from Scrubs...AND Natalie Portman." I'll check it out, then I sat there with a smile on my face. Just extremely well written, especially for a first outing from Braff. Great movie, good music. Remy Zero has been one of my favorite bands for years, its great to see them on this soundtrack.
