How Did Your Fantasy Football Team(s) Do This Week

Tue Sep 21, 2004 2:03 pm

I've got two teams different leagues...went 1-1 this week:

Morning Woodchippers (beat Silly Puddy 83-81, now 2-0 overall)
QB T. Green (woeful, but have just traded for P. Manning)
RB M. Faulk (gone in the Manning deal)
RB D. Davis
WR C. Chambers (solid, 1 TD)
WR D. Jackson
Flex-RB D. Foster (Fantasy stud of week #2)
TE A. Gates (not much)
K J. Elam
D/ST Tennessee (bad idea)

Flying Buttresses (lost to Green Gophers 64-53, now 1-1 overall)
QB D. Culpepper
RB E. James (d'oh! he's hurt again, but I've got Rhodes as a backup)
RB M. Faulk
WR H. Ward (stud)
WR A. Toomer (a few yards)
TE T. Gonzalez
K J. Elam
D/ST Tampa Bay (still worth something!)

How'd you guys do?
I plan on living forever. So far, so good...

My team while scoring in the high 90's got waxed yet again. I'm 12 ofthe 14 A.net league teams. Thank god Usairwys757 is playing and his team is a complete abomination, or I might be in last!

I'm in 3 leagues:
Ranked 1st of 12 in a local league: 2-0 (two blowouts thusfar, have Culpepper and Priest in that league)...
Ranked 6th of 10 in an airline league: 1-1, and...
Ranked 7th of 14 in KROC's league: 1-1.

2 leagues...

2-0, ranked 2nd of 10 in an airline league (points are the tiebreaker) - I've gotten lucky with Thomas Jones, Tiki Barber, and Curtis Martin... very lucky.

1-1, ranked 4th of 6 in a league with some friends from home. We had a good start to the year, but were held back by awful performances by Matt Hasselbeck, Shaun Alexander, and Chad Johnson last week.

We'll see how both of these go.

I'm in 4 leagues (hard to keep track of too)

In my city office league, I'm 2-0 and ranked first out of 10 (points tiebreaker). Can't go wrong with McNabb, Tomlinson, Corey Dillon, Darrell Jackson, Andre Johnson, Quentin Griffin and Tony Gonzalez in your lineup...

I'm 1-1 in another office league, ranked 6 out of 12.

2-0 in the a.net league (after pummeling KROC) and I'm ranked 3 out of 14.

1-1 in another discussion forum league, altough I pay the least attention to this team.

Yeah, thanks for that Cactus. I would have killed you though if Sgt. Winslow didn't get hurt....my defensive players scored some points.......the Redskins team D didn't fold like a cheap suit.......Preist got loose on the Panthers....*Sigh*

Here we see Cactus' football team knocking out the china of my football team.....

In the head to head league I'm in on Yahoo!, I'm 2-0 and am in 1st place with 146 points, the second place team is 7 points back of me. My team (I've tweaked my team as a result of Sunday):
Pigskinners
QB D. Culpepper (Min - QB)
WR An. Johnson (Hou - WR)
WR T. Glenn (Dal - WR)
WR D. Patten (NE - WR)
RB P. Holmes (KC - RB)
RB K. Barlow (SF - RB)
TE E. Johnson (SF - TE)
BN T. Duckett (Atl - RB)
BN M. Booker (Mia - WR)
BN B. Lloyd (SF - WR)
BN L. Smith (Phi - TE)
BN D. Brees (SD - QB)
K S. Graham (Cin - K)
DEF Atlanta (Atl - DEF)
BN Detroit (Det - DEF)

I've got two waiver claims pending as well:
Drew Brees for Jake Delhomme
TJ Duckett for Jerome Bettis

I dropped the following yesterday:
K J. Hall (Was-K)
DEF STL (STL DEF)

Week 1:
Pigskinners 80
Grizzles 79

Week 2:
Pigskinners 66
falcon-meat 52
(I had this one wrapped up on Sunday as I had players playing on MNF)

The team I play this week lost by 39 last week.

Don't even ask about my Salary Cap team, I'm in like 100,354th place.....
