Security forces have killed a man alleged to be an al-Qaida suspect involved in the failed attempt to assassinate President Pervez Musharraf.

Amjad Husain Faruqi, 30, said to be running al-Qaida operations in Pakistan, was killed during a two-hour shootout in the southern province of Sindh on Sunday.

...

Faruqi was named the "Pakistani mastermind" of the 25 December assassination attempt on Musharraf.

More than a dozen people were killed in that attack when two human bombers detonated their explosives-laden vehicles close to the president's motorcade.

Your thoughts? Good to see one of these bastards die, but there are a hundred there to replace him  Sad.

So that just means that a hundred, hopefully lesser qualified leaders have to die too.

This one got "reported". There are many more that go unreported.

Good grief, I'm having a heart-attack! We agree on something  Wow!.

j/k, one can argue beliefs, religion, and whatever else, but these guys live for one thing, terror. They are a cancer to everybody around the world, not just Americans or westerners, and I definately think the ones who are receiving the greatest direct intangible damages are the rest of the Muslims themselves. Just my thoughts.
