Michael Jackson "miffed" At Eminem

Thu Oct 14, 2004 1:34 pm

Well, I guess Eminem pissed off Michael Jackson. According to MJ:

``I am very angry at Eminem's depiction of me in his video,'' Jackson said Tuesday in an interview with comedian Steve Harvey on Los Angeles radio station 100.3 FM. ``I feel that it is outrageous and disrespectful. It is one thing to spoof, but it is another to be demeaning and insensitive.''

Well, Michael, next time maybe you'll think twice about molesting kids.. The truth hurts, doesn't it??

Anyway, I thought the video was hilarious. Another classic by Eminem!

Maybe if Jacko wasn't molesting little boys left and right, he wouldn't get cracked on like this. Thumbs Down to BET for caving in and removing Em's video.

KRIC, does that mean Jackson won? the video is being withdrawn?

No word from Madona btw. Perhaps sitting at home watching the video thinking "Yeah he's got my number alright".  Smile

BET is withdrawing the video, only on the basis that Jacko is "black". If it was MTV or VH1 or anything else, they wouldn't withdraw it..

Jasepl, that was hysterical! LMAO  Laugh out loud

If Michael Jackson is perceived by so many, as so nice, then why do so many people insist that he's molested children? It doesn't make sense to me that he would be innocent.

Well Launch on Yahoo! still has it, in fact, it's they're #1 video. I watched it last week and laughed my ass off. From what I've been hearing, "Lose It" is a red herring, as his upcoming album is going to be nothing like this song, in fact, it's rumored to be a very political album.

That video was hilarious... What is Michael Jackson's problem. He has ridiculed so many celebrities and they all just laugh it off, but nooooo not Michael Jackson... He has to make a big deal out of it.

Michael Jackson is an INNOCENT MAN!

Jackson has a million times more talent than Eminem.
Eminem in just a little wannabe street punk.

"I am very angry at Eminem's depiction of me in his video,'' Jackson said Tuesday

So am I right in thinking that Eminem won't be invited to Neverland for a sleepover anytime soon?

...and Emeniem will NEVER come close to record sales as Michael Jackson.

All of Emeniem's CDs combined don't even come close to the sales of the Thriller album.

True.. Jackson will always be the king of pop. But the man has to learn that even though he thinks it's OK, it's not socially acceptable for a grown man to share a bed with unrelated adolescents. It just sets him up for these types of jabs from people like Eminem.

Music? Is THAT what you call Eminem's stuff?  Big grin

If so, I guess his inability to read or write it explains the way it sounds...

Michael Jackson back in his day is better than Eminem, but he isn't much of a musician now if you ask me. Eminem isn't much of a musician, but I think his stuff can be clever.

I don't think anybody has said that. Even though I've lost a lot of respect for him, I have to give MJ his props. He is the king of pop and a legendary artist. Hell I still have an LP of Thriller from my childhood. Nobody here in their right mind is going to say Eminem is more talented than MJ, but he's far more than a wannabe street punk. His staying power on the charts points to that.

Look past the hyperbole in his lyrics, and listen to the other songs on his CD's and then talk to me.

It's not Em's fault MJ can't take a joke.

Yeah that is true. I feel like Micahel Jackson WAS great. Nobody could even come close to him in the 80s. But what has become of him is nothing but an easy target for ridicule. I mean, how many allegations can one man get?

Actually, relatively few rock and pop stars over the years could read or write music - at least standard musical notation. Not too many of them are trained musicians in that sense. For one thing, notation is not really capable of describing the sounds properly.

Half agree with Superfly on this one. Jackson has had loads of success with his music. (That's right, his music.) While Eminem is forced to make controversial musicvideos and lyrics, while making fun of other artists to get attention.

I agree that Michael Jackson is a kinda weird character if you look at the non-musical side of him. But look at the success he's had throughout his career. There is no doubt is talented musically. He has sold more albums than Eminem, though I realise he's had more time to do this... Still he didn't do it by humiliating other artists along the way.

If I had to chose between them, I'd put on the Thriller album long before listening to any of Eminems "yo, waddup, I'm pi$$ed and I'm here to say..." songs.

Hang on, haven't MJ's albums been expensive, overblown flops these last 10 years?

Tells us one thing, people generally don't care what the artists drink, shoot, snort or smoke, or how many groupies they have, or how many cars they write off/hotels they trash.

But it seems a majority really prefer the sexual partners of the artists to be above the age of consent, kiddy fiddling is right out.

Of course it is. I'm trying to compare the two musically. If the rumours about MJ are indeed true, then naturally that is apaulling. But his musical talent is (or at least should) not be affected by what goes on in his private life.
