Any predicaments for tonights matches, and will you be watching any of them?

I'll be watching Man Utd whipe the pitch with Sparta tonight, shocker! Big grin

The other matches are:

Deportivo La Coruna. vs Liverpool
Olympiacos vs Monaco
Dynamo Kiev vs Real Madrid
Roma vs Bayer Leverkausen
Bayern Munich vs Juventus
M. Tel Aviv vs Ajax
Lyon vs Fenerbache
Man United vs Sparta Prague

Place your bets.  Smile

Well Old Trafford saw the result of Ruud van Nistelrooy 4 Sparta Prague 1 with Karel Porborsky sent off for Sparta.

RvN's goals were a typical assortment for him: a penalty, an "offside" goal, a hopeless back pass to him which allowed him to go round the keeper and a challenge in the penalty area before placing the ball in the net.

Attacking wise, Utd looked okay but there were still some bad misses but defensively, there were some worrying moments as Sparta did have more shots on goal than Utd (and they should have had at least 1 penalty).

I have to say I was rather impressed with the standing ovation Karel Porborsky was given after being sent off. I have to say I was hoping he would manage to find the net.

United to be honest were poor, but at least we managed to find the net  Smile

Which one of Ruuds goals was offside? Sorry I haven't seen the highlights, just what I saw at Old Trafford.

I was just going to mention the standing ovation for Poborsky. Nice gesture from the United fans. Also remember the ovation for Ronaldo (Real Madrid) when he left the pitch after scoring 3 goals against United, sending them out of the Champ League two years ago.  Smile

Ruud was offside on the last goal which came in extra time.

And btw, there was never a penalty if you refer to Keane's tackle in the 2nd half. The tackle occured outside the box, so definitly a free kick.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
