However, tonight it has emerged that Glazer's financial backers (JP Morgan) and PR
group (Brunswick PR
) have withdrawn their co-operation with working with him due a high likelihood that both saw no need to alienate the incumbent board and/or fans in this manner.
He's also done the astonishing thing of getting the Man Utd board and the independent Shareholders United group to start singing from the same hymn sheet as they are normally at loggerheads as to the direction Man Utd should take as a plc.
