Sir, the original title of this post was "Liberals and Europe please sit down". The overall context being, that the election is over, the people have spoken and it is time for us to sit back down and get back to work. Terrorism, taxes and other issues await us.
I don't care what it said, the implication was obvious, condscending and filled with arrogance that the conservatives often show when they win-"you sit down, you losers, shut up, an let us take care of things." Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. We won't sit down; we son't shut up; we'll continue to hound this guy for the mistakes he has made, the election notwithstanding.
If things go well, I'll be the first to say it. If he does something that I think is OK
, like his nomination of Gonzalez for AG
, I will say so, but on Iraq, on the economy, on giving out huge tax breaks to the filthy rich, I will not accomodate you, him, or anyone else. So stick it.
