We're Not Anoraks Anymore, We're Pro-Ams

Mon Nov 29, 2004 11:09 pm

The Demos 'think tank' in the UK (http://www.demos.co.uk/aboutus/default.aspx) has produced an interesting piece of work today called The Pro-Am Revolution

This describes ''How enthusiasts are changing our economy and society'

The following link gives a little detail http://www.demos.co.uk/catalogue/proameconomy/ , but the gist of it is that we (the enthusiast) should be given rather more recognition than we have had.

No longer should we be known as Anoraks (or Geeks or Nerds ) !
