Ipod And Windows Media

I just got an Ipod mini for my birthday and i have some songs that i recently downloaded from Kazaa that i want put on my Ipod. My question is that is there a way that i can convert the windows media music into a format for my ipod?

iTunes for Windows can convert windows media files that aren't copy protected into MP3 format for use on your iPod.

It may even convert it into AAC format, but I'm not sure since I don't use Windows.

Either way, it can be done. Perhaps via an "import" feature, I'm not 100% sure on the steps necessary.

iTunes converts it into AAC when you add it to your library.
