Decision Made On The Newdow Vs. Bush Case

Sat Jan 15, 2005 11:15 am

I started a thread yesterday about the courts ruling on an atheist who has been trying to ban any prayer from the Inauguration Ceremony.

The ruling has been passed down!

No surprise here!

The sad thing is that Newdow won't stop there.

What really gets me pissed off is how arrogant he is. He thinks it is his duty to make everyone else conform to his ridiculous standards. And a prayer harming someone? That is the funniest thing I have heard all year. If Bush came down and beat him over the head with the Bible, that would be harming him. Just saying a prayer is making him uncomfortable at worst. This guy needs to move on with his life. No wonder his wife left him; he is an arrogant prick.

Maybe I'm the only one with this thought: is he going to the inaguration simply so he can get offended in some way?

That's what it sounds like to me-and that's the problem with the PC crowd-they WANT to get offended; they LOOK for ways to get offended; the NEED to be offended. Or their life has no meaning.

It looks like Newdow and his extremist views are trying to overthrow the very constitution that gives him the right to make a public ass out of himself.

Duct tape his ass to a chair in the front row, right next to a speaker, so he can listen real closely when our countrymen take our God given right to prayer....it's unfortunate that there's many Americans out there right now fighting so this jerk has the right to make these sorts of obscene protests.

In addition to that DG, have him hold the bible while bush is swearing in. Laugh out loud

And if he doesn't comply, have guards up there with tazers  Smile

Even the 9th Circuit in SF says the guy is fruitloop (well, not exactly those words), now that oughta tell everyone something. Even the 9th Ciurcuit isn't on his side . . . .

Can the taxpayers sue him for all court fees and costs?

Isn't there some law about recouping taxpayer dollars from frivilious law suits? If not there oughta be, just so we can bill this SOB . . . .

Spot-on! Falcon84 once again demonstrates why he is a member of my RU list.  Big thumbs up
