Favourite DOS Game.

Sun Jan 23, 2005 7:01 am

Sorry to steal this idea from you SlamClick.  Smile

Anyway, what were your favourite DOS games?

My top 5 will have to be:

1. Lotus (Racing game)
2. Manager (Footie game)
3. Retal (Fighter aircraft game. Can anyone confirm the name is right?)
4. Winter Games (winter olympics)
5. Stunts (Racing game)

Let's hear about some other classics.  Smile

Wing Commander was quality. Also, Flight Assignment: ATP....ahead of its time IMHO....

Also, anyone remember Corncob 3D? or even Lemmings...

I can remember having a few DOS games. I was still pretty young.

  • Flight Simulator 3.0 through 5.1
  • KidPix
  • Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

I enjoyed them all. I can still remember what to type at the prompt to get to flight sim:
    FLTSIM5 [ENTER]
...and up pops runway 36 at Chicago Meigs Field! Those were the days.

    Confuscius-
I love Lemmings as well. Sometimes I have childish impulses to buy an old computer off eBay for a couple bucks and load all of the games I grew up with onto it. I have since forgot what Windows 3.1 looks like, it's been so long. Sad
