Need Wireless Router Advice

Wed Jan 26, 2005 12:36 pm

Hooking up a wireless router should be easy. I have no idea why neither my laptop nor my PC could connect to the 'net when I finished. Anyone know where I can find a simple tutorial?

What kind of router do you have? I recently picked up a linksys (WRT54G?)
for our home. Set up was easy..plugged the CD in, answered a few questions
and bingo was in business. Hooked up another desktop and a laptop to the network just fine.

if you are running a linksys setup, go here and run the NetSet assistant.... just follow the simple instructions and you'll be up and running in no time.

I've used this numerous times, and it's worked beautifully

Thanks, guys. The router is a D-Link.
