The Battle Of The Stop Signs

Thu Jan 27, 2005 8:39 am

Road maintenance guy #1: - 'Hey, I've just been told told there's no stop sign on the corner of John Doe and Jane Doe streets.'-
Road maintenance guy #2: - 'OK, let's go place a new one.'-

1 hour later...

Road maintenance guy #1: - 'There you go. Now there's a stop sign again. Great work, right?"-
Road maintenance guy #2: - 'Absolutely. I'd say it's time for another beer!'-

[Road maintenance crew truck leaving for pub]...

Maybe that's the difference between the First World and the Third!!!!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Another difference:

If that was in the US, some mullethead would run it, get T-boned in the intersection and sue because the first one obscured his view of the second one, so he did not see it.
Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.

I can't find it now, but I've seen a great photo from Nigeria of two guys painting a STOP marking on the road at a junction. Only one problem, they spelled it wrong  Big thumbs up
