Well I was there earlier this month and its a great country. You say you liked it, as did I and if A389 says the weather if good presently, then all the better! There's this beer over there called Coral. If you haven't tried it then do so. It tastes like Stella but it's stronger and cheaper!
Well, I've been there three times now so it can't be too bad! I've never been in the winter, earliest was in May but again it's a real nice place. I've stayed in Yalikavac, Side and Kemer. They're all nice but I'd say Yalikavac was the nicest, the most diverse. Bodrum is the airport that now serves it opposed to Izmir when I went. I think it was a seven hour coach transfer back in the day!
Anyway, most of Turkey has a lot of history to explore which is what I'm into most. The beaches are good as well but I'm not sure on the weather currently. Id say it was better than northern Europe though!
Oh and Im quite partial to the Effes Pilsner they have over there, it's been a while but it was a good, cheap drink
I think it's nine times I've been there. The mainland is great as are the Islands. So much to see there it's probably why we've been there so many times. I love the ruins and the scenery over there. The people always take to me as well, must be my name, Alexander
But you got your nightlife as well, that's great. Hell, Greece is worth going to just for the Ouzo and Raki. Although Turkey has Raki as well..
Well I'm not sure if I've helped. If I were to choose, then I would go for Greece. The weather would be good, loads of things to do and the food and drink would be great. I mean you can get those Stuffed Vine Leaves and a Greek Salad and ahhhh, or Mousaka and if you can eat cheese, then Saganaki. Dam I miss that stuff, oh well.
Glad to see you didn't consider going to Spain! Sorry if you're Spanish but your resorts are waaay too English!
