Michael Jackson: "I'm The Victim"

Mon Jan 31, 2005 7:15 pm

Jacko has hit back at his accusers by saying that he is the victim. Jackson has released a video on his web-site, hitting back at his accusers. Jackson has pleaded not guilty to sex chargers.

Strange trial arrangements.

Here's a person being tried on a criminal charge releasing a video. Ditto with leaks to the media. How is there ever going to be an unbias trial ?

Sounds like another OJ Simpson event about to start.
By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

LOL... sure looks like it...maybe the media will call it the MJ event or something like that.

 Laugh out loud

"I love my community and I have great faith in our justice system. Please keep an open mind and let me have my day in court. I deserve a fair trial like every other American citizen. I will be acquitted and vindicated when the truth is told," Jackson said.

How the hell is he so sure that he'll be acquitted??!

Just goes to show, if you have lots of money and fame, you can get away with anything.

The trial will begin in a few hours. Jacko is facing 10 charges of Child Sex. The trial is expected to last till Americas Autumn season. I'm currently watching BBC World and a parent has said that she would trust her 3 child, two of them girls to be alone with Jacko.

Jury selection is about to start. The court car park is full of media trucks with big satalites.

Although I'll certainly not predict the trial outcome, I will predict that Dan Abrams, Greta Van Susternerenern (sp?), et al will experience perpetual erections during this, and to a similar but lesser degree, the Robert Blake (Beretta) circus. I understand to a point an above-average public interest in celebrity affairs, but don't understand the media's seemingly perverted addiction to such. Ratings, I guess? I, for one, won't be watching the nonstop coverage and reporting of every new "breaking detail", which usually only consists of a rehash of day-before-yesterday's events and interviews with countless legal experts that only come out from their caves for TV exposure or when a check is waived under their snouts. I am constantly amazed by these parents who let their kids ALONE with MJ after the first accusations came out in 1993. Those accusations were never completely resolved, and disappeared only after MJ paid off his accusers. I personally wouldn't get within a mile of this nut, let alone allow my kid (if I had one) to be romping with this nut job at his so-called ranch.

So just who are these parents? And why are they getting a free pass on parental responsibility? Or common sense?

Jackson may be innocent, or he may be severely mentally ill. But it appears that many of these parents are either just plain STUPID, or are money hungry grubs expecting large cash settlements at the expense of their kids.

Boring ! And irrelevant, really. Whether or not he slept with kiddies, Jackson is a freakosaurus, who needs major reality awareness therapy. The guy is just lost in space.

Yup I'd say both. And yet society wonders today what is causing a lot of problems with out young people.  Yeah sure Here's a perfect example!

Michael Jackson and much of his family are pathological liars. It has gotten to the point where they can no longer distinguish between fact and fiction.

I am very concerned with what will be the excessive coverage of this trial. More people are interested in Michael Jackson's personal life than things going on in their government that really affects their lives. I am quite sure the Bushies will like this as they won't have so much of the TV media looking at them or Iraq. It looks like I am going to have to stay away from the news after the headlines, and tune to C-Span or to non-news programs or to the net for any real news. Unfortuntly ratings of such trials soar from those of prime ad targets ages/demographics.
MJ is a world famous person. He is facing very serious charges, only murder could be considered so serious. There are issues as to the accuations and the accuser. There have been too many questions raised by MJ himself in his beheavor. He apparently bought peace from or paid off other accusers. As a person with some 'unique' beheavors, and strange upbringing, he makes it easy to accuse. Let's face it, most guys in his position would be going after Beyonace' not boys. While he has tried to eradicate his skin color to white, he is still a person of African ancestery and fear that his defense counsel may play the 'race card' here like OJ did. I also fear that a fair trial for him and for the accusers if they are true in their charges, will be extremely difficult.

Indeed, Jaysit.

Gone are the days when there would be a media frenzy about someone like OJ Simpson, and we on this side of the Atlantic could be ever so condescending about American justice because we didn't have a clue who OJ was!. Now, we're likely to be with you in the 24 hour thing.

Makes you proud, doesn't it? I think it's all your fault, you know. Damn Yankees.  Big grin

I read in the newspaper today that the same family which is accusing MJ of the molestation sued JC Penney many years ago, their claim was that security guards sexually molested and beat up the mother and two boys to the point of broken bones after the guards had caught the boys stealing loads of clothes. Even though alot of the ordeal was on CCTV and there where many store staff also watching and where there while they were interviewed and there was no hospital reports of broken bones JC Penney settled out of court to save the companies name from getting ripped to pieces. The paper asked JC Penney a few weeks ago what they thought of the family, there response was something along the lines of this family is just out to sue everyone for all they can get.

IMO from reading many articles in different newspapers there just is alot of coincidences with regards to this family.

I know this is like so rude/inappropriate... but yeah, I'm curious as to why her lips are like that?

You say Botox? Just curious. Any source?

Also, there's some chick on either CNN or one of the broadcast news that does basically the same thing. Black woman. Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Hey guys take a look at http://www.thesmokinggun.com and run a search for Michael Jackson. A great deal of what was supposedly ordered sealed by the judge was leaked to this site.

Once you read it you'll quickly realize MJ is clearly guilty... and it will make you wonder whether parents are willingly tempting MJ with their young boys so that they can get a big cash settlement.

That bizarre, hideous THING needs to go to jail!

A few years ago, Greta Van decided that she looked way too ordinary for primetime TV (actually she looked just fine).

So she went and botoxed herself for the prime time barbies and kens in a big ballyhooed publicity stunt.

I am with Michael Jackson on this one.
The man is still innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law. However it seems as though he is already guilty in the public's eye which carries no legal clout.
It's hard no to see some sort of which hunt against Michael as well as his family. Come on, look at all the hysteria after Justin Timberlake pulled off her top to display here nipple for a tiny second. She was racked across the coals on that.

Michael Jackson sure is a strange individual but he must have pissed off some powerful people in that industry for this to happen.

He may be weird, but his entitled to his day in court. That's the basis of the justice system.

So, kill the circus and the interest until the court case is over. The tabloids and trashy TV shows can pickup afte the court case. I'm sure MJ will still be as weird as ever.

Superfly:

MJ is innocent until proven guilty.

However, it does appear rather odd that these parents continue to allow their kids to spend nights with a grown man who has had his brush with the law concerning sexual abuse in the past.

These parents are either plumb dumb, or just rapacious hounds out to bilk the man of any money he has left. As far as MJ goes, he is either a completely stupid, yet innocent, fool to continue his foolish games with kids, however innocent these games may be, or guilty of the charges.

Either way, I have no sympathy for him.

He's about 46 I think. I can't be bothered with watching the trial - there is no purpose for doing so except rubbernecking unless you are a judge/lawyer/member of the jury.
