LG is a company that gives you a decent product within the cheap range. My only experience was with an LG DVD player, which I bought for a temporary use before getting my Marantz DVD-V/A/SACD player. Anyway, it was a very good player for its price. To sum it all up: if you want a cheap product that won't break up too soon - get an LG.

They make very good LCD TV's. The clarity, constrant, brightness, colour and generally lookability is usual great. Also, the prices are usually quite resonable!

I have a flatscreen monitor from LG. I was a little hesitant to buy it for a while but I've had it for a little over a year now and it turned out to be great. It's an 18" L1811S Flatron TFT monitor and it's working nicely and has a good, clear picture. Plus I got it for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for?
Of course now prices for TFTs have gone down a lot, but I am still happy with this thing and will keep it as long as the pixels continue to glow...

But you're right, LG does seem to make a lot of stuff... Next thing you know is them producing cars Big grin

I've got a LG washmachine in my house in India. Very nice cleaning, nice smoothing out and spinning very dry. My 100 % Indian wife appreciate it so much.

I am sure that South Korean goods are very reliable ones.

I have even a grandpiano, 100 % made in Korea, and it's a loyal friend.

Cheers. KIlavoud.

Actually, Korean-branded products made in the last 6-7 years have gotten pretty good. That's because the Koreans decided they didn't want to be purveyor of "cheap" products and decided to take their product line upscale.

I've seen LG's new line of DLP rear-projection TV's and they are excellent units.  Big thumbs up

Got wifey an LG 'fridge just before Christmas. Don't know the cubic foot but it's ext dims are 908(W)x869(D)x1771(H) - I'll let you figure out that one - and at about US $1500, don't consider it "cheap", although I realize one can easily lighten one's wallet considerably more on other premium brands.

Although I don't get off on home appliances, this dude is pretty neat (love the "titanium" styling) and performance since delivery has been perfect. We'll look at LG for other kitchen stuff when we build. Regards..Jack

My cell phone is an LG, piece of crap if you ask me. Though it was the super cheap model I got when I indentured myself to Verizon for 2 years. It works fine and hasn't had any problems, it is just that its reception can be described as bad to awful. My old Motorola V60 was a much better phone.

My cell is an LG VX3100. It was the el cheapo flip phone that Verizon was giving to unwitting cheapskates like myself about a year ago in return for loyalty to Verizon for 2 years.

Come to think of it, maybe it isn't LG I should hate, but Verizon.
