Ever notice how many people start thread by asking, "Is it just me or...."? Usually the question continues something like, "are lines rediculously long?" or, "is security too rigid?"
(No, I have I not seen either of these questions posed. It is about the way the question is asked).
Think about it, if someone asks, "Is it just me, or are lines too long?" what are we supposed to say? It doesn't make sense to say, "It's just you!"
What you are trying to ask is, "Do other people agree that lines are too long?" Even then, the question is kind of silly. OF
course lines are long! So perhaps the poster is trying to simpy say. "I have noticed that line are long. Have you all noticed it too?"
But perhaps I am wrong. Or maybe it's just me!
Mind you, this is just one phrase of many that we are all hooked on.
What are some of the other "catch phrases" that we tend to use (that have become part of the airliners.net lingo)?
