Yeah, that's all it needs - a bit of snow. I have to get the train to work, and believe me, if there's so much as light rainfall or a few gusts of wind, it's their excuse to close down the lines. (I remember a day last year when I had to get a taxi because the wind was too string for the trains - I hadn't even NOTICED that there was wind!)
The problem is that the people who manage this kind of thing have never been anywhere in the world beyond Bognor, so they don't realise that the rest of the world can do this weather thing SO MUCH EASIER than we can. I live for the day where someone who has lived in Canada (for example) is employed to sort this out.
Looks like I'll be working from home next week then.
